The Danforth VFD is comprised of local individuals that are trying to make a difference in their community.
We provide manpower to fight fires (structural, vehicle and wild land), provide extrication with our Jaws of Life.
Assist with water rescues and search and rescue missions.
We also provide fire prevention education, wood burning appliance inspections and chimney cleaning.
The department awards scholarships to members of the graduation class of EGHS to aid in their continuing education.
We are a non-profit organization and all funds are raised through donations, raffles and suppers
